Reflections on performance: Benchmarking in the Dutch drinking water industry Reflections on performance 2009 is the fifth comparative survey of the Dutch drinking water industry. The study was performed for Vewin by Accenture. The benchmark study objectively compares the performance of the drinking water companies in terms of their core results (Drinking water quality, Service, Environment and Finance & Efficiency). The benchmark gives shareholders and supervisory directors, central government, customers, researchers and last but not least the participating companies themselves a better understanding of the performance of the drinking water companies. Solutions to global water challenges; Tackling water shortages and contamination using the most modern techniques 'Solutions to global water problems' is a publication of the Association of Dutch Water Companies (Vewin) and Fugro Ingenieursbureau. The new battle for water is a global one, but the solutions are local. The Dutch water companies, united in Vewin, have the experience, knowledge and technology to help anywhere in the world. Fugro gives finding and working with water a new impulse. It can locate groundwater, contamination and storage possibilities in the most remote areas from the air. It has the knowledge to provide clean drinking water for millions, combined with knowledge of the surface of the earth and technical expertise for mapping thesubsoil.
